Winter Park -Cross Country Super Loop

Saturday morning June 25th saw sunny skies and warm temperatures at Winter Park for the second race of the 2011 Epic Singletrack Mountain Bike Race series. There were somewhere around 420 racers out for some classic Winter Park mountain bike racing. The "Super Loop" race route for 2011 was brand new, and was designed to bypass the major wet, flooded or muddy trails.

Race organizers chose a challenging 23 mile course with numerous climbs, fun descents, high-speed fire road sections and (of course) generous helpings of sweet Colorado singletrack. Conditions varied between dry hardpack, rocky, rooty and muddy. The course did not disappoint, bringing many smiles to racers' faces.

The Feedback Sports team was out with a full lineup of 22 riders at Winter Park for the race. It turned out to be a great day of racing, results wise, for our team. We came away with 14 top-five finishes and 6 podium placings! Podium finishers included:

In the team results, the Feedback Sports red team finished 1st for the race and sits in 1st place overall after two races. Our Feedback Sports white team is in 7th place overall and the carbon team is in 16th place overall after two of seven races. All in all it was a good day of mountain biking for the Feedback team.
